The Firmwide Controllers organization is responsible for ensuringthe overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controlsover the transaction cycle. The groupperforms critical reporting and controls functions for the organization, includinglegal entity, financial and regulatory, as well as product valuation. The teamis also responsible for improving ongoing processes, and ensuring execution andimplementation of the overall financial architecture.
Interentity Analysis Group(IAG):
Within Firmwide Controllers, IAG provides a controlled andstructured review process for LOB transactions, leveraging its legal entity,financial, and policy expertise. IAGs policy and Legal Entity leadershipincludes:
Managing JPMs end to end Reg W governance and reporting framework,including owning the Transactionswith Reg. W Affiliates - Regulation W/Sections 23A and 23B Policy. This policy governs the identification andreporting of transactions between Bank chain entities and Affiliates.
Owning the Legal Entity Reorganization and Capital ActionsPolicy. This provides for the structuredreview and approval of all Entity, Asset, and business reorganizations(Internal entity mergers, Regulatory pushout, etc.) and capital actions(dividends and capital investments) among JPM entities.
Owning the Legal Entity Affiliate Support Document Policy. This provides for the review and approval ofall interentity guarantees and related support documents within the firm.
Acting as a required reviewer for all NBIAs globally throughoutthe firm, addressing Legal Entity, Regulatory, and other financial impacts forproposals across all LOBs.
Engagement in the Firms Legal Entity Strategy and SimplificationGroup. IAG advises all JPM businesses globally on the legal entity andrelated regulatory aspects of structuring and managing transactions and is anapprover on all entity creation/dissolution proposals.
Overseeing certain activities within JPMC & Co (as astandalone entity), JPM Chase Holdings LLC and JPM International Finance as afinancial/bank holding companies and/or operating companies. IAG also focuseson legal entity connectedness and relationships between JPMC & Co and itssubsidiaries, including JPMCB.
IAG works closely with businesses and support groups in allregions - many initiatives have a global dimension and broadramifications. To add value, IAG needs to understand the overall businessand product contexts that it faces.
THE ROLE: The Firmwide RegW Controller will develop, own and drive JPMs global Reg W program, including:
Governance of JPMs Firmwide Reg W compliance and reportingprogram. This includes: i) ownership anddevelopment of day to day centralized Reg W governance processes, ii)appropriate allocation of applicable limits though the assessment and approvalof new and renewed Covered Transactions, iii) developing and executing qualityassurance reviews, iv) enhancing controls to ensure completeness and accuracyof reportable Reg W transactions and exemptions and v) internal and externalreporting - including the filing of the FR Y-8 Regulatory Report.
Leading the resolution of Reg W issues Firmwide, in collaborationwith LOB Reg W Controllers, LOB Reg W Leads and other SMEs. This includes participation in LOB Reg WControl frameworks, facilitating technology improvements (including withCorporate Finance IT) and driving other enhancements, needed to supportexecution of control and reporting improvements - both centrally and acrossLOBs.
Being the primary Reg W contact with OCC and FRB regulators. This includes chairing regular updatemeetings with them and responding to enquiries raised.
Chairing the Firm-wide Reg W Committee meeting and ad hoc workingsessions, driving the Firm-wide Reg W agenda ensuring that the LOBs are incompliance with the Regulation and the Firm-wide Reg W Policy.
Working closely with the owners of other Firm-wide Policies withinIAG and Bank Controllers to ensure that common issues are addressedconsistently across all policies.
This is asenior, varied and high profile role. Itrequires the development and application of technical / regulatory expertise,an understanding of JPMCs legal entity structure and LOB products. The successful candidate will build relationships at seniorand junior levels level management across the firm, effectively communicate anddrive consensus among peers and colleagues across wide variety of lines ofbusiness (Front, Middle, Back Office) and Corporate Sector functions, includingInternal Audit. The Reg W Controllerwill also be a member of the wider IAG Management team.

A minimum of 15 years previousexperience, gained working on complex financial projects or in a governance / controlrole. This is likely to includeexperience in one or more of Risk, Compliance, Legal Audit or Finance functions.
Bachelors degree or equivalent, withevidence of further professional growth.
